Therapy

The techniques and insights in this book come from years of experience, trial and refinement on myself and many students globally. I've made many missteps, and had I known about these tools earlier, I could've dodged these errors and spared myself a great deal of pain and distress. But we don't need to make these mistakes to wisely harness fear and cultivate exceptional courage.

I've assembled these tools into a concentrated, systematic, and detailed model that I share during personal processes. If necessary needed, we'll also delve into a therapeutic component aimed at addressing traumas, obsessions, and various disorders that hinder and harm progress towards our goals.

This isn't a process akin to classic psychology in its core, style, or duration. It's a focused model that arms you with the necessary tools for cognitive, social, and emotional independence - without making you reliant on medication, a therapist, or a mentor. Everyone's capable of achieving mental independence, given the right direction. The brain is an incredibly adaptable organ that can experience remarkable changes in a relatively short span, if you understand its workings.

This model is founded on the latest brain studies, and incorporates a range of therapy disciplines as well as my own personal experience. These advanced exercises have shown to be the most effective during the programs and courses that thousands have participated in with me worldwide.

There's no need to make personal therapy and coaching proccess an ongoing part of life, like a permanent mental crutch. For this reason, we would set a suggested duration based on the change you want, and we'll proceed patiently and attentively at your pace and willingness. But, we'll still follow a proven, successful model, where each step and meeting has a defined, clear goal. The personal process happens through video meetings - in English and Spanish. If you're an Israeli citizen, we can also meet face-to-face at my clinic in Israel.

How to engage with me

You're welcome to reach out to me personally via email or the website. If I'm able to start a personal process when you reach out, I'll respond to set up a free video meeting. During this meeting, we'll assess whether your situation aligns with my areas of expertise. If it does, we'll get to know each other better and I'll provide a detailed overview of the process, its stages, and its essence. I'll also offer all pertinent details, like the duration of each meeting, the cost, and the recommended process length for your case.

If I'm not free to start a personal process when you reach out, I'll get back to you with either a future availability timeline or a suggestion for a certified therapist or mentor who's been trained by me and specializes in your needed area.

My Areas of Expertise

Developing Courage, Personal Fortitude and the Ability to Delay Gratification

Courage and personal strength are learned qualities and not necessarily innate. Next to them, delaying gratification is perhaps the most important quality in a person's possession and is sometimes the key to a breakthrough in any field.

Anxiety

Anxiety is excessive fear characterized by an extreme reaction, even without a threatening factor justifying such a response.

Anxiety comprises four primary components:

The emotional component: This is predominantly expressed as fear, a feeling that compels us to run away, even when we don't know where to escape or how. Feelings of helplessness also arise, intensifying the fear even further.

The mental component: Worries and thoughts that everything is about to go wrong and that a terrible event is imminent. These thoughts plague us incessantly, occurring during the day, in seizure attacks, or before we sleep.

The physical component: Numerous physical symptoms of anxiety exist, with the most common being muscle tension, abdominal pain, headaches, back pain, diarrhea, palpitations, chest and abdominal pressure, electric shocks in hands and feet, sweating, and trembling.

The behavioral component: Avoidance of the anxiety-inducing factor. This avoidance provides short-term relief but can become problematic in the long run if it exacerbates anxiety in the same area or if complete avoidance is impossible. In many cases, total avoidance is nearly unattainable, and attempting to avoid the factor may lead to a complete disruption of life.

Anxiety Attacks

Anxiety attacks are sudden episodes of intense fear, accompanied by rapid pulse, chest tightness, and feelings of suffocation. The individual may believe that something terrible is about to happen and might seek medical help.

Post Trauma

Post trauma is an anxiety that occurs intermittently or incessantly following a single or recurring event that posed a genuine threat to life or was characterized by extreme stress.

Phobias

Phobias are a type of anxiety related to a specific object or situation, such as flights, elevators, or snakes. Phobias are accompanied by physical symptoms of anxiety when encountering the fear-inducing factor, leading to avoidance of these situations in the future.

Anxiety Disorder

Characterized by recurring anxiety attacks and a persistent fear of their recurrence.

Couples Counseling & Training

Couple counseling and training using the Virginia Satir method combined with sources from the Judaism, with an emphasis on fears in a relationship; the art of fighting in a relationship; the needs of the man and needs the woman; frustrations in the relationship as engines for growth; designing the relationship as a key tool for self-healing and more.

Panic Attacks

Frequent episodes of intense fear, accompanied by severe physical symptoms that resemble a heart attack or the feeling of losing one's sanity.

O.C.D

OCD is an obsessive compulsive disorder characterized by uncontrollable, repetitive thoughts and accompanying rituals, which form the compulsive aspect of the disorder.

People with OCD are trapped in an obsessive-compulsive cycle that is difficult to break free from. An invasive-catastrophic thought arises, such as "something terrible can happen if...," leading to distress manifested as stress, shame, disgust, or heightened fear. To alleviate these feelings, there's a strong urge to perform a ritual or compulsive behavior, such as hand washing, showering, double-checking, or repeating specific words. The ritual provides temporary relief, but the obsessive thought inevitably returns.

Common types of OCD include:

  • Contamination worries

  • Fear of environmental disasters

  • Thoughts of causing physical harm to others, particularly loved ones (e.g., mothers fearing harm to their baby)

  • A need for symmetry and precision

  • An urge to confess in detail

  • A need for certainty or constant reassurance

  • Hoarding and saving items

  • Moral dilemmas and religious preoccupations (e.g., uncertainty about properly performing religious commandments)

  • Unwanted sexual thoughts, such as incest, unfaithfulness, or voyeurism

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Involves excessive and disproportionate worry about various issues over an extended period of time.

Career Issues & Burnout

Managing INSTINCT involves interaction with various occupational fields, many of which I have engaged with both as a self-employed individual and as an employee along the way, as well as with numerous professionals, including those who hold positions within the organization. This business experience, both locally and internationally, which includes communication with diverse cultures in different languages, has assisted me in developing a broad perspective on the job market and ways to succeed in it, including the ongoing challenge of career burnout, which doesn't hinder engaging and enjoyable roles.
